Please note that the registration fee includes:

    • Conference.
    • Transport within Makhanda (Grahamstown).
    • Transport from Port Elizabeth airport to Makhanda (Grahamstown) (return).
    • All meals except breakfast.
    • Delegates will be able to attend a joint session on the special interest topic and concerts hosted by SASRIM and the International Library for African Music (ILAM).
  • Please note all registration fees must be paid by Friday 1 July 2022.

    confirmation. If we do not receive your flight details, we cannot provide transport for you.

    We have arranged a shuttle service as follows:

    FRIDAY
    Departing Port Elizabeth airport on Friday 26 August at 10:30 and 13h00.

    Please note if you are on the 13h00 shuttle you will miss the start of the conference. Any delegate arriving after this shuttle departs will need to make their own arrangement.

    SUNDAY
    Departing Makhanda (Grahamstown) at 10:30 on Sunday 28 August. Please book your flights from 13:00 onwards.There is only one shuttle to the Airport and this will leave at 10h30.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations made between 1 June and the end of July will incur a 50% charge on their registration
    fee. Cancellations made after the end of July 2022 will incur a 100% charge on their registration fee.

    Responsibility

    Once your registration form and proof of payment has been received and processed, a confirmation
    letter will be sent to you for checking of details.
    The Conference organising committee for the Music School of the Future Conference 2022 will
    endeavour to assure that your attendance at Conference is as comfortable as is reasonably
    possible. Kingswood College, the organising committee members, appointed agents or other sub-
    contractors cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or inconvenience (of whatever nature)
    that might arise. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal
    insurance. The Conference programme is provisional and, in emergency, subject to change at short
    notice. The Conference committee reserves the right to make changes as and when deemed
    necessary, without prior notice to the parties concerned.
